I have always been a great lover of detective stories and books and have recently come across the ‘Alphabet Series’ by Sue Grafton.

It features a Private Detective who goes by the name of Kinsey Millhone. She is a 30 something ex police officer who has a slight contempt for abiding by the law. She lives in Santa Teresa, California, which is just north of Los Angeles.

The stories follow her through the more exciting cases that she is hired to look into.

The great blend of mind bending twists and turns and the excitement and danger you feel throughout the books are fantastic.

The series begins with A Is for Alibi and continues through to the current book which is called T is for Trespass.

Sue Grafton intends to write one book a year which will be released about one every 14 months until A-Z has been completed and Kinsey has reached the milestone age of 40.

If you enjoy these types of novels then I truly recommend these books and suggests you get them.

I have been shopping online for as many bargains as possible recently. With the credit crunch and my Girlfriend having trouble finding a job money is a bit tight but I have managed to get some things I have wanted very cheap.

Firstly I have been trying to learn guitar for over 2 years now and have been struggling so I purchased Guitar for Dummies for only £9.98. Hopefully it will mean I can finally get the basics right.

I have been a fan of the Sue Grafton Alphabet series of books and also managed to get hold of the latest one T is for Trespass for just £3.98, what a bargain.
