About three weeks ago I thought my Xbox 360 was dead. I had been playing Call of Duty non-stop for quite a while and decided to take a break. I then came back to resume my gaming marathon only to discover that when I turned on the XBox 360 I was presented with a black screen telling me I had an error (Error e74).
I simply reset the XBox thinking it was going to be a simple reboot fix but again the same thing appeared. I had only ever heard of the Red Ring Of Death (RROD) and never even heard these errors mentioned before.
I started to panic and thought I was going to be without my beloved games for a while either while I sent the XBox away to be fixed or until I could afford a new one.
Then I started looking for a xbox fix error guide on the Internet to find out exactly what the e74 error is and if there was any way to fix it without resorting to including Microsoft in the process.
XBox 360 error e74 turns out to be an error which is pretty common and luckily it can be fixed. I came across a site that is owned by this great guy, Chris Collins,
and after reading what he said I begun to feel a lot better about myself.
Within a few minutes I was ready to empower myself to fix the XBox without too much
hassle (or tools – except a regular screwdriver) and without involving (paying…)
the dreaded Microsoft.
Chris provided videos to show me exactly what to do and within an hour or so I was
back to playing Call of Duty all over again!
After this scare I read up on lots of different errors that can affect the XBox 360 and along with the RROD and Error e74 there are others like the xbox 360 error e68.
All these errors can be fixed by following the tutorials that
are available at: http://www.xbox360-3redlightsfix.com
