Amazon Begin to Sell DRM Free MP3’s
I recently started browsing for DRM free MP3 music after receiving a free iPod Touch from Goodies4Free.
I came across Amazon’s MP3 Store and realised that their MP3’s are very reasonably priced and they are able to be transferred between multiple devices.
As I am a bit fussy about my music the chance to buy any track I wanted and also being able to put it on multiple devices gave me a reason to use Amazon.
I was so impressed with it I have placed a widget on my sidebar and should you wish to buy any of the tracks shown simply click it and you will be taken directly to the MP3 store.

Ah ha! I have been using amazon mp3’s for a few weeks now. It is fantastic! I have between keeping an eye on the price comparison between iTunes and Amazon, and Amazon is almost always cheaper. I even bought a new release (All-American Rejects) CD . . . 12 bucks on iTunes, and I stole it for 2.99 on Amazon, and I was thrilled! I hope the word gets out about amazon mp3’s!

Amazon haven’t really made the big inroads on Apple’s iTunes. It has probably proved to be more difficult than they anticipated. With all the deals with record labels that Amazon was able to organize, it’s been quite surprising that their progress has been so slow.
