Health Net Names New President of Northeast Plans, General Counsel
Health Net, Inc. has reorganized the responsibilities of two executives in light of the recent acquisition by United Health care northeastern U.S. business license. Health Net said it named Linda Tiano as chairman of the regional health plans, Health Net of the Northeast. He has been Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary since January 2007. Replacing Tiano, the company named Angelea Bouchard as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary with immediate effect. In the newly created position, Tiano will move to Health Net Shelton, Connecticut office and operational direction to the northeast under a contract with United Healthcare. Informed Jim Woys, Health Net, Inc. ’s Chief Operating Officer. Attempts to get comments from Health Net was not an immediate success. “Linda will work with the local leadership to continue to provide excellent customer service to our members during the transition,” Woys said in a statement. Paul Lambdin, president of Health Net of the Northeast, which helped the deal to be implemented Northeast, Health Net will continue during the first quarter of next year to help with the transition from membership of the United Healthcare.
