Well the main reason that this product bought for my nephew for Christmas, but then I thought, so why not get one at the same time. . . This product connects to the port on the console just like the latest wireless adapter, you get a driver disk with the package, but if you already have the latest console from Microsoft, so you do not install the driver because it already exists! My signal strength has doubled, as expected, and improves the speed defintaely long as you have a wireless network N.
