The Budget and Me

Yesterday saw the budget and the forecast for the country’s comeback from the recession has been met with some big contradictions and pessimism.

Personally I will be left better off by about £358 a year by this budget and a lot of people will be better off although with the rate of inflation and other economic conditions a lot of people will end up worse off.

I used the BBC’s budget calculator to find out how it is likely to affect me. You can find it here Budget Calculator

Throughout these hard times it is always good to be able to get free gifts and I have created a website that tells you how this can be done. Goodies4Free will tell you how to get the latest gadgets absolutely free simply by completing a free DVD trial or signing up to a service.

I will be scouring the Internet for as many offers as I can find and I have recently come across Madbid. This site gives away many gifts such as Laptops, iPhones, iPods, Cars and much more for pennies in their penny auctions.

When signing up for them if you use ndev2k in the referrer box and radio10 in the promotion code you will receive 10 free bids instead of the usual 3. This should give you a great chance of winning something without actually spending any money.

I will be back soon with more great offers.

  1. I’m gonna try this stuff out. social networking has the potential to make it easy to refer people to these kinds of offers so you can get your free stuff. I’ve been meaning to set that up ever since i first visited your site.

  2. I read this article and I was thinking about how a lot of these positive news reports and figures are released by the urging of the people in power to instill a false sense of hope in the general public. I have to look beyond the fine print, just like it the US with Obama made statements about how the economy was recovering within a couple of weeks he was bailing out GM.

I do think that you should start making a budget as early as possible. As for me, I have always had a problem with budget, when I have money in the bank I spend it and when I don’t I try to save what I little I have left. How sad is that?
