Here is the weekly round up of the new releases ready to hit the shops next week.

You’ve often relied on them in other Tom Clancy games, but for the first time you get to play as an advanced fighter pilot in the most exciting combat flight sim of this generation. Taking the role of a U.S. pilot the game’s plot contains elements from both Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 and EndWar as you end up defending the United States from corporate mercenaries.
The unique Enhanced Reality System (ERS) allows you to customise the difficultly level however you want, with a set of pilot assists that let you give control of things like radar, damage control and anti-stall measures to the computer. Or you can simply take control of everything yourself and prove yourself the real top gun.

Eat Lead : The Return of Max Hazard (£33.59)
If you took one part Coded Arms, one part Duke Nuke ‘Em, and one part Charlie Kaufman movie script then mixed them all together, you might end up with a game like Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard. Developed by Vicious Cycle (Dead Head Fred) and on pace for a first quarter 2009 release, the game is a curious mishmash of third-person shooter with a tongue-in-cheek satire of video games in general
A lone squadron of Fairey Swordfish torpedo bombers roams the skies above the English channel, patrolling for Nazi destroyers and a battleship that have laid claim to these waters.
