Field Music

Amazon. co. uk ReviewThe Field Music’s debut album (consisting of the Futureheads original drummer Peter Brewis, along with his brother David and Andrew Moore) was a question eclectic charm, a stylish combination of vocal harmonies, imaginative instrumentation and seductive beauty unmatched by the latest post on indie-pop troubadours. Write your own history is not a sequel so much as a retrospective of the career of your guitar pop a bit crazy. Collect B-sides and unreleased tracks that often have more in common with previous bands Electronic Music Field Music of eyes and new storytellers, we have a general idea of how developed their unconventional sound. Tracks such as “Breakfast Song,” “Feed the Birds” and “Trying to sit” is the most recorded songs of Peter (their first attempt to organize a string trio), “I’m tired” and “Test your reaction is reworkings tracks previously released the EP and mini-albums. Some songs – “AC”, for instance – even before the New Tellers, but was re-recorded and released under the name of music at a later date field. Whatever it is, almost all the songs here are excellent examples of Field Music inventive song-writing, and for those of us who love a good melody strange, it can only be good. – Paul Sullivan

  1. be his best album to date. love (almost all) traces of ESP to get nervous and began to write a letter. Skippy more than happy pop songs Dappy! Rating: 5 / 5

  2. After seeing this band live support Kubb (a really good band and close), I can only say I wish I had not had to sit through the whole. This band seems to be unable to build a coherent song, rather than the result seems to be a backlog in school! Not only that seems to suffer from an internal struggle over which member of the band will be singers. Of course, none of them bothered to try and win this fight, maybe you should find someone with charisma who can really sing and write songs. Rating: 1 / 5

  3. When Paul Smith of Maximo Park (or what) is shown on television wearing a cloth hat looks smug and says you should listen to the music box, is your answer immerdiate avoid like the plague. Well mine. If you were so unforgivably stupid as I was, however, lost in one of the few genuinely interesting bands left in this country. Country music is simply charming, sensitive and intellegent if not always consistent. The only real problem I have with the disc suffers from the same lyrical vague plagues northeastern most bands like The Futureheads and Maximo Park, verses often bumble along a stupid, no real direction to what extent words. There is a light punishment, when everything is so good and to be fair, not nice to hear his songs that come out on Friday night and drink and have a fight or something. Musically know exactly where to go. Fortunately, the music field, ignoring all the influences from John Lennon so beloved of Britpop, and instead of taking over from John’s much maligned, animal loving, writing partner thumbs up. No, not Yoko. All parts of the Beatles who are ignorant as they were revived with fresh sparks of the Futureheads and cited the general punkiness. The use of chains is really impressive, because they manage to avoid sounding “epic” or “to embrace.” . . it is pathetic and castrated. The highlights are 17 tracks, parts, and the last song “You’re so beautiful” it is really unbelievable. . . BUY! Rating: 4 / 5

  4. They work with Maximo Park, The Futureheads and Virgin gold so if you are a fan of the band reading, but the field of music Sunderland not sound like anyone but themselves. Imagine the Gang of Four trapped in an elevator with the Beach Boys, Paul McCartney’s Wings, Prefab Sprout and thread. Then extrapolate. But beware, this is an album that will fall in love the first game. It is ambitious, uneven and sometimes bewildering complexity. Instead, you must live with it a bit, keep listening, and then see why everyone is raving about someone that this is one of the albums 2005th It’s beautiful, brilliant and inspired merciless. But – Hey! – Do not take my word for it. Take a chance, buy it and I guarantee that within a dozen works, do you think Sunderland have suddenly become the center of the musical universe. Rating: 5 / 5

  5. I have this album on a whim and can not stop playing now. Initially, they found that the change between the two different styles are reflected in the songs a bit difficult to get used to, but now it seems as a whole and it is now my favorite album for a long time – beautiful melodies, but really smart, and Geordie accents encounter all something to the effect of sung poetry. Rating: 5 / 5
